Who We Are

Our Structure

Instead of being a church that does missions, we are more like a mission that does church. As a church we have consistent meetings in homes or community centers.  This allows us the opportunity to have a more personal family atmosphere where worship, discipleship and fellowship take place.  It also allows us to focus our financial resources on practical needs in our community and beyond.

Our ministries reach out to the central Texas region as well as various nations around the world. Instead of using our time, energy and resources working to maintain buildings, sound equipment and in house programs, we use them to reach outside the traditional walls of the church touching people in need. Rather than trying to attract people to our building in hopes of touching their lives, we go out to them, to their place of struggle, investing time and love to renew the hope that is so desperately needed.

Our Mission

We choose to “be“ the church in the world, meeting people where they live and investing hope by providing food, clothing, education, encouragement and value.

Allan Jones & wife Jeanette

Allan Jones & wife Jeanette

Allan and his wife Jeanette were called to Marble Falls Texas in 2001. They are a big family with a simple calling, to love people the way Jesus did. They believe in teaching the truth of scripture in its proper New Covenant context. Living as His church in the world and touching people at their point of need. Their heart is to offer hope in practical ways, especially to the least among us and help people to see their true divine value. After more than 25 years in ministry, Allan no longer feels the need to attract a crowd to a building or to entertain people, but instead wants to invest in people where they live and struggle.

Our Beliefs

God the Father

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and are one God.

  • Psalm 90:2
  • Matthew 28:19
  • 1 Peter 1:2
  • 2 Corinthians 13:14
Jesus Christ the Son

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is all God and all man, coequal with the Father and Holy Spirit. He was born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He fulfilled the righteous requirements of the religious law on our behalf, forever freeing us from their bondage. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven to return again someday. He will forever reign as King over the Kingdom He establishes.

The Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit is the omnipresent indwelling of God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son. He is coequal with the Father and the Son. He enables us to be the conduit of God’s love, power, comfort and wisdom for the purpose of drawing mankind into an intimate and redemptive relationship with Jesus Christ our Savior. His indwelling or baptism is available to all believers at or subsequent to entering a relationship with Christ. We believe that He manifests spiritual gifts through believers with balance and guidance from the authority of the local church.

The Bible

The Bible is God’s Holy Word to us. It was written by human authors under the supernatural inspiration and guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth. Because it is inspired by God, it is without error. All knowledge in this world is subject to the truth it contains. It represents a complete revelation of God’s eternal love and redemptive purpose for mankind. Where our opinions, beliefs and traditions differ, we are subject to change.

Human Beings

People are made in the spiritual image of God, though sin (choosing our way over God’s way) has marred that image. Sin (our attitude of disobedience) separates us from God and causes many problems in our life. As we place our faith in Jesus Christ the image that God intended for us to bear can be restored and our relationship with God made right eternally.

  • Genesis 1:27
  • Psalm 8:3-6
  • Isaiah 53:6a
  • Romans 3:23
  • Isaiah 59:1-2

Salvation is God’s free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self ruled life, confess to being a sinner and put our faith in Jesus we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one submits their life to Jesus Christ by faith.

Water Baptism

The act of water baptism is an external sign of an internal change. A celebration of what has occurred in the heart of someone who has placed their faith in Jesus Christ. It is a proclamation that we are not ashamed of our relationship with Christ or our need for other believers to support us in our walk with Him. Jesus Himself was water baptized as an act of obedience that pleased the Father.

The New Covenant

Love is the most vital of all our beliefs. The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is the Mediator of a New and Final Covenant. He fulfilled the requirements set forth in the law of Moses and became the Yes and Amen to all of God’s promises to mankind. This Final Covenant is no longer driven by law (religious rules & regulations) but is predicated on love. As New Covenant believers Jesus tells us that “to love” is our greatest command and the expression of that love is how the world will know that we belong to Him.

The Church

First of all, the church of God is people not buildings. We as believers or followers of Christ are His church. He dwells in us and empowers us to do the things that He would do on this earth. The things that He says are most important, the things that He says will identify us as belonging to Him. Honestly, we are never told in scripture to build structures and develop programs with the hope that we would attract people. Instead we are instructed to go out and serve people, showing them the tangible love of God when they are truly in need and forgotten. He identifies in Matthew chapter 25, those who are His church, His sheep, His children, those that actually belong to Him.

When God came to earth in the form of His Son Jesus Christ, He came to establish His Kingdom among those who would believe. These people of faith in Christ would enforce His victory over every dark and godless influence. His Kingdom would be a place where the principles of His life and love would dictate the method of rule and reign. Where all people who choose to place their faith in Him would become His church, His colony on this earth. Not functioning as an embassy where people passing through could find temporary protection and care, but a colony where they could experience life giving relationships that would endure throughout eternity. The body of people who choose to exalt Jesus Christ as the one and only God have become that Kingdom Colony, they are His Church. This Church is made up of both Jew and Gentile believers who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ; they are the Israel of God.

They are called to bring His Kingdom to bear on this earth. They are committed to building that Kingdom on the unshakable foundation of His eternal love. They are dedicated to living their lives by the infallible principles put forth in His inspired Word. They will forever and unashamedly exalt Christ Jesus as the primary focus of God’s affection. They will preach the gospel of the Cross as the only hope for bringing mankind into a right and eternal relationship with God the Father.
